The City Government has received the ISO 9001:2008 certification for Public Administration covering Business Permits and Tricycle Franchising Office, City Civil Registry, City Assessment Office and City Treasury Management Office (Disbursement, Revenue Collection and Calibration) in August 2016. The standard has been updated to ISO 9001:2015 and since February 2018, we have been using this version as our standard. Last April, AJA Registrars, Inc. conducted an audit on our services and operations to verify if we have been recommended for ISO 9001:2015. On August 20, 2018, Mayor Justin Marc SB. Chipeco received the certificates awarded by AJA Registrars Inc. during the weekly flag ceremony. “In our continuous effort to provide quality public service to our constituents, we are constantly striving to surpass ourselves by raising our standards and working hard to meet them,” Mayor Chipeco said. Local governments as a rule, seldom seek ISO certification because of its rigid standards but true to form, the City Government of Calamba accepted the challenge to rise above the norm.
