Calamba City’s Assessment Office ranked 1st in the entire Region IV-a for achieving a Total Assessed Valuation (TAV) of Php 60,268,097,030.00, Mr. Graciano G. Aldabe, Calamba City Assessor received the plaque of recognition from Dir. Eduardo L. Del Rosario, Regional Director, Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) Region 4-A in the 2018 Mid-Year Performance Evaluation of CALABARZON Treasury and Assessment Operations held last July 30 to August 3 at Binangonan Recreation and Convention Center, Binangonan, Rizal. “Collaborative effort and hard work of the City Government and Assessor’s Office was the greatest avenue in achieving this triumph”, according to Aldabe. He added “Mayor Timmy’s support and encouragement to our office have been both a challenge and an inspiration for us to push ourselves farther”. Aldabe envisions the City Assessment Office to be the leading agency in generating local revenues from real property taxes, new assessment and re-assessment of real properties in Calamba if this continues.
