FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT
- The City Legal Office is tasked to provide legal, technical, staff services and support to the Local Chief Executive and other local officials to the formulation and execution of legal measures relative to the development plans and policies of the local government.
OBJECTIVES
1. To recommend measures and advise City Mayor and other local officials on matters related to upholding the rule of law;
2. To formulate measures for the consideration of the Sangguniang Panlungsod and provide legal assistance and support to the Local Chief Executive;
3. To develop and implement plans and strategies related to legal services;
4. To represent LGU in all civic actions and specialize proceedings;
5. To provide legal assistance to the marginalized sector of the community.
