The City Government of Calamba issued an Executive Order #18 S. 2014 for the creation of Committee-in-Charge of the Search for the Mr. and Miss Calamba 2014 in celebration for the 272nd Founding Anniversary of Calamba. The City Government tied up with Ms. Hemilyn Escudero Tamayo, Mutya ng Pilipinas 2002 finalist and President of Total Image, Famous beauty pageant organizer in national and international world of beauty. The project aimed to showcase the modern Filipino. This project is a way of paying tribute to the modern Calambeño by encouraging and rewarding their talent, communication skill, community involvement and intelligence. The pageant is also way of hearkening back to the Ancient European custom of choosing symbolic Queens and Kings to represent their local and national virtue and ideals during festivities. The Grand Coronation of this contest was held September 27, 2014 at University of Perpetual Help Dalta System Calamba, The winners are:
